Abstract
We describe the recent results obtained on the problem of accretion of dark matter by supermassive black holes, based on the evolution of matter fields on a black hole space-time. We mention the results for the models where dark matter is assumed to be an ideal gas, both with and without pressure, and the model that considers the dark matter is a scalar field. Up to now the analyses focus only on the radial accretion.
