Recent Progress of Pulsed-Power-Driven High Energy Density Physics in China

Abstract

Pulsed power driven high energy density physics is of very importance for inertial confinement fusion, dynamic characteristics studies of material, fusion energy and so on. Researches on pulsed-power-driven high energy density physics have been conducted more the three decades in China. In the paper a brief review of these researches will be presented. Main content will be emphasized on recent progress conducted on PTS. Future plan on new pulsed power driver for higher energy density physics will be also proposed.
