Abstract

Due to the high standard of assembly accuracy, relying solely on the improvement of manufacturing accuracy of rotor has become difficult to meet the requirements of efficient and precise assembly on site, which is also difficult to avoid the accumulation of assembly errors. To solve this problem, the precision measurement and assembly optimization methods of the aero-engine multistage rotor have been reported in many literature. However, a comprehensive review focusing on precision measurement and assembly methods is lacking. To bridge this gap, this paper reviews the recent progress in precision measurement and assembly optimization methods of the aero-engine multistage rotor. First, the measurement and assembly optimization methods of the axial and radial geometric errors of multistage rotor are summarized, and the transmission model of geometric error, measurement datum, assembly datum, and optimization objective are analyzed. At the same time, the profile measurement methods of rotor are discussed, and three typical measurement equipment for the geometric error of multistage rotor are compared. Second, the measurement and assembly optimization methods of the unbalance error of multistage rotor are summarized, and blade sequence optimization methods of rotor are discussed. Furthermore, the vibration suppression method of aero-engine based on the control of unbalance error are summarized. Third, tightening and inspection of connecting bolts of multistage rotor are analyzed. Finally, summary is given to provide reference and theoretical guidance for precision measurement and assembly of the aero-engine multistage rotor.
