Abstract
A new, generalised model of DPLL( k) grammars and DPLL( k) parsers is presented. DPLL( k) grammars and parsers can be used as an efficient tool for inference support in syntactic pattern recognition-based expert systems. The new model has been developed in order to improve both discriminative power and computational properties of recognition algorithms.
