Abstract
Recent developments by the Communicable Disease Center in the use of insecticides of possible interest and usefulness to Agricultural entomologists include a simple rubber disc that Serves effectively as a sprayer pressure and flow regulator, a mechanical system for dispersing dichlorvos vapors for aircraft disinsection that could be adapted for use in any permanently enclosed space requiring frequent or continuous disinsection, and solid formulations of diehlorvos that provide a sustained release of diehlorvos vapors at a relatively uniform rate over a period of several months, which may prove useful for treating enclosed spaces where the use of mechanical dispersing systems would not be feasible.
