Abstract
One of the most significant enforcement tasks of the Hungarian Competition Authority (hereafter, GVH) is the control of concentrations. Undertakings are legally obliged to receive clearance for their transactions from the competition authority if the notified operation meets the turnover thresholds set out in the Hungarian Competition Act.This article gives a short overview of the most significant procedural and case-law improvements that took place in the GVH’s practice in 2012.
