Abstract

The BES detector on the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC) has collected 22.3 pb−1 of data at √s = 4.03 GeV and ≈ 3.6 × 106 ψ′ events from 1992 to 1994. Preliminary results are presented in this paper for total observed charm cross section at √s = 4.03 GeV, inclusive branching fractions for Br(D → X) and Br(Ds → X), and branching fractions for J/ψ and ψ(2S) decays to axialvector-pseudoscalar pairs.
