Abstract

AbstractHybrid organic‐inorganic halide perovskites have attracted massive attention during the last several years because of their promising properties for high‐performance electronic and optoelectronic devices. The intriguing ferroic nature of hybrid perovskites, especially ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties, bring new opportunities for mechanical energy harvesting applications. They are also introduced as triboelectric materials coupling with their remarkable dielectric and electrical features. This mini review presents a concise overview of the recent progress on hybrid perovskite nanogenerators, including piezoelectric nanogenerators and triboelectric nanogenerators. Different dimensional perovskites with prominent ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties are discussed in detail. Lastly, we provide a brief outlook for the future development of self‐powered wearable electronics based on hybrid perovskites.image
