Abstract
The aim of this paper was to describe the possible use of the software RecDate für documentation and Quality Management in Reproductive Medicine. RecDate was programmed using the data base program Filemaker Pro. The functions and potentials of RecDate were analyzed. RecDate enables the collection, documentation and evaluation of data from Reproductive Medicine and also functions as a hospital management tool. The present status of Reproductive Medicine can be described by the use of RecDate in IVF-clinics, which is important for consulting and treatment of couples, for the quality of public enlightenment and for optimizing the processes in daily routine.
