Abstract

Update: As of January 1, Reasoned Legal Research will be found online. We've made it into an interactive website so students receive immediate feedback on exercises and multiple-choice questions. Putting it on a website also allows us to update videos and text to immediately reflect changes to government websites, Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law. Please do not download the PDF associated with this abstract. It is now out of date. Reasoned Legal Research teaches students how to research legal authority. It consists of a workbook, 30 videos, and multiple exercises to teach students effective strategies, guidelines, and tips for researching the law.
