Abstract
There is great ambiguity in the calculation of adsorption equilibrium constant and thermodynamic parameters (∆Gθ, ∆Hθ, and ∆Sθ). The calculation of ∆Gθ, ∆Hθ, and ∆Sθ requires the dimensionless standard equilibrium constant. The experimental equilibrium constant should be converted to the standard equilibrium constant by the standard state. The choice of standard state affects the value of the ∆Gθ, ∆Hθ, and ∆Sθ. The corresponding adsorption equation should also be clarified. The calculation method of equilibrium constant for various isotherm models mentioned are provided.
