Abstract

From Management Report as well as other sources of union prevention information, you know that the past year or so has not been friendly to employer interests. The labor law landscape is quickly tilting to a union‐friendly view. The NLRB has a Democrat‐controlled majority. The NLRB's General Counsel has announced an aggressive stance on enforcement of labor law violations. While the more substantive provisions of the much heralded PRO Act are likely shelved for now given the even split of the U.S. Senate, recent legislation has carried forward increased financial liability exposure for unfair labor practices. As we move through 2022, the labor law is poised to promote union organizing activity.
