Abstract

The safe operation of power system requires high- precision satellite navigation time service information. The time service deviation caused by navigation interference will affect the operation of power system. In view of this problem, the principle and interference types of satellite navigation time service are discussed, and the application of satellite navigation time service in power system is introduced. This paper focuses on the impact of satellite navigation time service interference on transmission line fault location in power system applications. The principle of transmission line fault location is expounded. The interference test is performed on the satellite navigation receiver with interference equipment. The analysis shows that the satellite navigation time service error of 1μs will lead to the fault location error of about 150m, and the impact degree of fault location changes with the length of transmission line.
