Abstract

Real-time and single-shot, complex-field characterization of optical signals with sub-picosecond time features and extending over sub-nanosecond time windows (i.e. with time-bandwidth products ≫350) is demonstrated by combining spectral interferometry with dispersion-induced frequency-to-time mapping.
