Abstract

We present an efficient approach to restoring a blurred image in real time by usingopto-electronic hybrid processing, by which an image motion vector can be effectivelydetected and an accurate point spread function (PSF) was modeled rapidly. A Wiener filterwas adopted to restore the blurred image, greatly simplifying the complexity of theimage restoration algorithm. The approach applies to the restoration of arbitrarymotion blurred images. An opto-electronic hybrid joint transform correlation(JTC) was constructed to confirm the efficiency. The experimental results showthat the proposed method has the distinct advantages of real time and goodeffect.
