Abstract

In this paper, we present a real-time particulate matter (PM) monitoring system based on the oneM2M IoT platform and LoRa networks. Fixed and mobile LoRa-enabled nodes equipped with PM sensors and GPS receivers are developed, which transmit sensory data to the LoRa gateway, storing it in an oneM2M IoT platform. The measured data, i.e., geographical coordinates and PM values can be retrieved through REST (representational state transfer) APIs and then visualized with Google Maps APIs. The full details on the implementation work and experimental studies are described.
