Abstract

AbstractA Technique for locating Phasor Measurement Units that ensures observing the power transmission line of buses vulnerable classes on the overall system's transient and voltage stability analysis is proposed. PMUs can be placed according to a variety of parameters. Topologic accessibility is one of the key aspects that problem been addressed in the previous conditions, allowing Extensive Area Monitoring to implemented self-governing of the SCADA system. One of the category influence placements for reducing the substations nominal number of PMU system, PMUs based the observability of the topology and PMU requirements for power transmission line. The proximity to instability is shown by real-time monitoring of voltage stability catalogues and phase differences and across multiple nodal analysis. The purpose of a PMU will be clearly understood if it is installed on a bus that is more vulnerable. When transient stability and voltage prediction are taken into account, the difficulty is to determine the important buses where the PMUs should be located. The transient stability analysis is placed with buses identification study is determined using integer linear programming with equivalence and variation constraints. The proposed solution has been tested on the modified southern grid 24 bus system in India.KeywordsPMU24 bus systemILPVoltage stability-index (L)Observability
