Abstract

In recent years, enormous work has been done for adding smartness and intelligence to the conventional power system. Visualization techniques form a crucial part of this paradigm. There is a need to link the analytical data from the power system to the visualization tools. This paper presents a system for analyzing the visualization technique, GIS (Geographical Information System) for displaying the real-time data from the grid on geographical map and its role in optimization of cooperation in game theory. Different GIS software, benefits of visualization techniques, users and beneficiaries of the system, etc. have been outlined. The authors have also introduced the theory of Sub-game Perfect Nash equilibrium, discussed its advantages over Nash Equilibrium and its role in optimization game. ESRI's ArcGIS Explorer Desktop has been used for displaying the information on the geographical map.
