Abstract

Realization of fully differential third order current mode OTA-C filters using current mode linear transformation (CMLT) technique is presented here. Based on systematic design methods, a third order current mode low pass elliptical filter has been realized through lowest number of OTAs and capacitors. Fully differential Elliptic filter has been designed through adding floating capacitors to relative all pole filter design using CMLT technique. To verify the performance of current mode filters, voltage mode filter is also designed and simulated. All circuits have been designed and implemented using 0.18µm CMOS technology. These circuits operate at 1.8V supply voltage.
