Abstract

AbstractWe are introducing an innovative organic semiconductor electroluminescent device capable of emitting light with unprecedented characteristics, that is, high directionality with divergence angle of 1.1° and high color purity with the full‐width at half‐maximum of 2.5 nm. This achievement was realized through design techniques aimed at enhancing gain via meticulous recombination zone control and complemented by the reduction of the optical losses. These results demonstrate the simultaneous achievement of a narrow spectrum and high directionality in an organic electroluminescent device.
