Abstract

This article presents the content and methodological aspects of the implementation of interdisciplinary integration
of mathematics and special disciplines which are included in the modules “Modelling and design of oil refining industries
(special training)” and “Technology of oil and gas processing” of the curriculum of the speciality “Chemical technology
of processing of natural energy carriers and carbonic materials”. The presented methodology is aimed at the formation
of the necessary professional competences of the future process engineers. The main methodological form of interdisciplinary
integration implementation is shown: an integrated module (IM), which combines the disciplines closest in content
and intersection of competences to be formed. Pedagogical requirements for the design of IM are highlighted. It is
shown that successful implementation of each designed IM is possible when solving organisational and managerial tasks:
methodological; content; organisational. The essence of these tasks is revealed. Specific examples of methods of IM
inclusion in the educational process are given.
