Abstract
A Hankel transform relation based on the real-valued Hartley transform and its application in image reconstruction from projections are proposed. In comparison with its counterpart based on the Fourier transform, the proposed method has evident advantages in computational and memory requirements because all operations are performed in the real-number space.
