Abstract
The main attraction of the CLEAN technique is its simple algorithm, but in its previously existing form it is still too complex to be implemented in real time in a small phased array. A more effective CLEAN version is proposed for small realtime phased array systems based on relatively low-performance digital signal processors, and it is shown how real-time null steering may be achieved.
