Abstract

This research explores the developing a real time inventory management system powered by a generative user interface. We are leveraging large language models like GPT4, Claude 3, and Google Gemini that support tool calling or function calling, and integrating it with the modern frontend frameworks like Next js that support streaming React Server Component (RSC), the proposed system enables interaction with the inventory through natural language prompts. We are using PostgreSQL as a choice of database and server actions are used to interact with the database in real time. The system composes and renders appropriate react components based on user prompt, providing a personalized user experience. The research discusses the system's architecture, implementation, and potential impact on inventory management systems. It showcases the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) and conversational interfaces in enhancing enterprise software user experiences.
