Abstract

The paper studies the techniques of real time infrared image processing. The enhancement of real time infrared image is mainly discussed. With enhancement of real time infrared image, the authors suggest main methods that are local histogram equalization, pseudo color display, average of multiple frames and accumulation of multiple fields, contour enhancement and restoration coefficient. Emphasis is laid on the restoration coefficient method, in this paper. On the basis of describing the model of the method, the concrete project for realizing enhancement of the real time infrared image is put forward, and the practical example is given.
