Abstract

Electric vehicles rely on batteries, which are a significant component of their overall performance and efficiency. Monitoring battery health in real-time helps ensure optimal performance, extends battery lifespan, and prevents unexpected failures, thereby improving the overall reliability and longevity of e-vehicles. Real-time monitoring allows fleet managers and vehicle owners to track battery state of charge (SoC), state of health (SOH), depth of discharge (DOD) and predict remaining range accurately. This helps drivers plan their routes better and minimizes the risk of running out of battery power during trips. Real-time tracking enhances the safety and security of e-vehicles. In case of theft or unauthorized use, the system can provide location information to aid in recovery. Additionally, in case of accidents or emergencies, the system can alert authorities and dispatch assistance promptly.
