Abstract
With the development of the Internet of Things (IoT), real-time processing of data has become an important key as various and many data have been generated at the manufacturing site. The development of IoT has brought Cloud Computing (CC) to attention. However, it has the problem of latency and delay, and traditional centralized data processing can violate real-time processing, drawing attention to distributed processing technology. Edge Compression (EC) technology is a technology that distributes a variety of data at the manufacturing site and enables real-time processing. Distribute the various processes of traditional servers and use a near-field network to compensate for latency and latency problems. In this study, we propose an architecture that allows EC to perform the preprocessing, small-scale analysis, and connection for facility control, which are the processes performed on the server with EC development.
