Abstract
ReadNPlay for a Bright Future aims to support healthy eating, active living, safety, and development among families with young children. Through support of an AAP Healthy Active Living grant, ReadNPlay was developed by a group of academic general pediatricians, community partners, and graphic designers in 2011. This multilevel, multicomponent intervention includes novel clinical tools to enhance communication between pediatric providers and families during health supervision visits, referrals to community resources, and use of social media and a coordinated social marketing campaign to support a culture of health.
