Abstract

Multimedia titles use technology which offers a good basis for use by print-disabled people. However, lack of appropriate document structures and difficulties in navigating multimedia titles limits the readership. We propose a new approach to design of multimedia documents by separating contents from interaction techniques while using XML standards. From these XML-based documents and their mapping the final multimedia title can be generated using industry standards.KeywordsSign LanguageInteraction TechniqueBlind PeopleDeaf PeopleMultimedia DocumentThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
