Abstract
Aggression management Dear Editor, I must express my disappointment over an item contained in the August issue of NRC. In the Health and Safety section of the journal the issue of training staff in aggression management was mentioned and almost without any apparent consideration of the consequences recommended a training programme offered by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust (SLT) (let me at this juncture state that I have not attended any training programme by SLT but have read much of their literature and have found it to be of good sound content). Such an unambiguous endorsement of a training provider was disappointing to see and as someone who also provides training in aggression management felt that you failed to provide the reader with the bigger picture regarding aggression management training in health care.
