Abstract

I highly appreciate the present study,1 in which a newly developed simple scale for prediction of large vessel occlusion (LVO) in anterior circulation has undergone internal single center—and external multicenter—validation and comparison with previously published clinical scales. Novelties of the GAI2AA scale are the combined scoring of gaze palsy, aphasia, and inattention, and the addition of the subitem atrial fibrillation.
