Abstract

Recent developments in automatic scintillation counting permit simple and rapid assays to be performed for many radioactive substances. This method has been used to determine reactivity ratios in the methyl methacrylate—methyl acrylate system where structural similarities make analysis of the copolymers difficult by other procedures. The results compare favourably with previous data and the simplicity of the technique suggests much wider application.
