Abstract
The reactivity of mononuclear platinum and palladium dithiolato species as building blocks for homo- and heterobimetallic complexes is described. The heterobimetallic cationic complex [(PPh 3) 2Pt(μ-S(CH 2) 2S)Pd(dppb)](BF 4) 2 was obtained by reaction of [Pt(S(CH 2) 2S)(PPh 3) 2] with [PdCl 2(Ph 2P(CH 2) 4PPh 2)] in presence of AgBF 4.
