Abstract
1. A study was made of the reaction of ammonium salts of general formula [C5H5FeC6H4N(CH3)2CH2R]Xe, in which CH2R=propyl, allyl, benzyl, and ferrocenylmethyl, with organomagnesium compounds in presence of anhydrous cobalt chloride. 2. The ferrocenyl nucleus stabilizes a neighboring radical center to a smaller extent than a benzene nucleus does.
