Abstract
The reaction of [Cr(η6-PhCH2ZnCl)(CO)3] 1 with [{Pd(η3-C3H5)Cl}2] 2 in tetrahydrofuran yields a novel complex [ ( η 3 - C 3 H 5 ) P d ( C H 2 Ph - η 6 ) – C ⎴ r ( CO ) 3 ] 3 with a Pd–Cr bond; the reaction of 3 with Phl leads to [Cr(CO)3(η6-PhCH2Ph)].
