Abstract
The conversion of per(poly)fluoroalkyl halides into the corresponding carboxylic acids with a redox system-(NH 4) 2S 2O 8/HCO 2Na is described. This reaction provides a convenient method for the synthesis of various per(poly)fluorocarboxylic acids under mild conditions.
