Abstract
The reaction of the binuclear rhodium hydride complexes [(R 2 PCH 2 CH 2 PR 2 )Rh] 2 (μ-H) 2 (R=Pr i , [(dippe)Rh] 2 (μ-H) 2 ; R=OPr i , [(dipope)Rh] 2 (μ-H) 2 ) with simple aldimines (RCH=NR'), the ketimine benzophenone imine (Ph 2 C=NH), and the cyclic imine isoquinoline are described. Amido-hybride products of the general formul {(R 2 PCH 2 CH 2 PR 2 )Rh] 2 (μ-NR'CH 2 R)(μ-H) are producted. The mechanism of this reaction has been investigated by labelling studies and kinetic analysis
