Abstract
ABSTRACTLi2CoTi3O8 ceramic was prepared by a reaction-sintering method for the first time and its microwave dielectric properties were investigated. A single phase of the Li2CoTi3O8 ceramic was confirmed by its XRD pattern. The variation of microstructures was analyzed by SEM. The optimum sintering condition of Li2CoTi3O8 was considered to be 1050°C/5 h, for the best density and dielectric properties. Typically, Li2CoTi3O8 ceramic prepared by a reaction-sintering method sintered at 1050°C for 5 h exhibited microwave dielectric properties of ϵr = 22.3, Q × f = 28860 GHz and τf = −5.0 ppm/e°C. The correlation between dielectric properties and microstructure is also discussed.
