Abstract
1-Hydroxynbenzotriazole, 1-(N-tributylstannyloxy)benzotriazole, or bis(1-benzotriazolyloxy)dibutylstannane react with vanadocene (Cp2V) to give as the major product 1-[(η5-cylcopentadienyl)vanadiooxy]benzotriazole in high yields.
