Abstract
One of the obstacles faced by community social service agencies is difficulty in attracting adolescents to the services offered them. Adolescents typically do not walk in or keep appointments at outpatient clinics and can be difficult to engage even for outreach programs. One solution to this dilemma is to go where the children are: the public schools. This paper describes the group work component of a collaborative program at an inner-city school.
