Abstract

In this paper, the issues of the reachable set estimation and control for continuous-time semi-Markov jump systems are investigated. By utilizing mode-dependent ellipsoidal technique, the reachable set estimation condition is given. Furthermore, the upper and lower bounded method of dealing with transition rate is employed, which reduces the conservatism of reachable set estimation for semi-Markov jump systems. In addition, to address reachable set control problem, the slack variable is utilized for designing mode-dependent state-feedback controller. At last, the effectiveness of the obtained results can be verified by a practical example and a numerical example.
