Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses a class of discrete event systems for which a realization theory, similar to the abstract input-output systems, is given. Related system properties are also considered. Then, coupled discrete event systems are realized in a special form which facilitate to prove that certain point-wise local reachability of all subsystems implies reachability of the large system.
