Abstract
To the Editor: We were interested to read the recent paper by J. M. Powers (1) describing the presence of neuroglobin and cytoglobin in the hyaline deposits of hereditary ferritinopathy patients. However, we were surprised by the author's assertion that hereditary ferritinopathy is the first human disease in which abnormalities of these globins have been identified.
