Abstract

AbstractThe authors have tested and recommend the rearing of eel fry until June when there are optimum conditions for stocking in open waters. Glass eels were fed either with traditional natural feeds (spleen, plankton, whitefish eggs) or exclusively with dry compound feeds for trout (EWOS, TROUVIT, VELAZ) and a special compound feed prepared by ourselves that is enriched by germ cells of Streptococcus faecium.
