Abstract

Intraurethral metallic stents made of shape memory alloy are widely used for prostatic hyperplasia. They are also useful for intractable urethral stricture and urethral disruption. To our knowledge we report the first case of re-epithelialization of a5c mdefect in the urethra after placement of a temporary shape memory alloy stent.
