Abstract
In this paper it is proved that isotropic chiral media are reciprocal. According to the notation used in this paper it is found that the chirality parameter is purely real, and that chirality is not a dissipative phenomenon. These results occur both for lossy and lossless media. Consequencies of these results are discussed
