Abstract
We consider the Z → cc̄ branching ratio Rc in the context of topcolour-assisted technicolour (TC2) models. We find that the main corrections to Rc in TC2 models come from the neutral top-pion π0t and the top-Higgs boson h0t via the flavour changing scalar (FCS) coupling φt̄c. The recent experimental value of Rc imposes a severe constraint on the FCS coupling factor Ktc.
