Abstract
Abstract Rb—Sr whole-rock dating of the Ratan granite yields an age of 1685 ± 25 Ma and an initial 87Sr/86Sr ratio of 0.703 ± 0.003. The age determination confirms the post-orogenic character of the Ratan granite relative to the Svecokarelian orogeny.
