Abstract

The article discusses the historical aspects of business development in Russia and the role of entrepreneurial activity and intentions in this process. Based on the analysis of scientific works in the field of entrepreneurial development, the main factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions are identified. They are classified into two categories: personal-level variables and institutional external variables. Entrepreneurial activity is analyzed in dynamics in terms of business density, the level of entrepreneurial intentions in Russia. The influence of the main determinants of entrepreneurial intentions on the attitude of students to entrepreneurial practice is considered.
