Abstract

Ludwig Feuerbach developed within his philosophy numerous criticisms of the philosophical thought of his time as well as religions, but especially Christianity that was accepted as religious doctrine by much of Germany. Feuerbachian criticism of both German speculative philosophy and religion emerge from the need for the establishment of a new philosophy, a philosophy of fundamentally human sensitivity. Thus, this work had as its main objective to discuss Feuerbach's proposal on the plan of a New Philosophy, which is based on the support of the human being as a real and absolute entity in its contradictions and qualities. We used commentators and scholars of Feuerbach's thought such as Chagas, Serrão, Souza, Lima-filho and others to discuss the problem developed here. Through this research it was possible to conclude that the question of an incorporation of philosophy has with fundamental proposals the possibility of reconciliation between reason and nature, individuality, and community as processes of humanization of reason.
